We had 10 minutes to shoot these pictures yesterday and I have to say, the flowers serve as the perfect backdrop for this blouse! How great are these colors? I also love the print of this blouse from Leifsdottir at Anthropologie. I was in need of a good neutral pair of pumps and found these on Gilt Groupe. Festival season is already in full swing and Coachella is just around the corner. Fairgrounds, depending on location, can be tricky in terms of attire...dusty, crowded, hot during the day and cold at night. With this in mind, ideal outfits should consist of easy layering pieces and closed toe shoes to avoid broken toes in massive crowds of crazed music fans. Proceed with style and caution.

Calm Before the Storm

It's hard to believe just a few days ago it was 80 degrees! Winter is back, and we managed to sneak outside for a few minutes to take pictures before it started raining again. It was actually pretty cold and I should have been wearing more layers! I love this different take on a denim jacket; the sleeves and collar are coated denim. And I know I've raved about Shoemint before, but I have found some of my favorite shoes since the site debuted in November 2011. These are no exception, and have been a staple in my closet for about 6 months now. Perfect for a pop of print:)

Web Relaunch {Level 99 Premium Denim}

Last fall I was fortunate enough to interview the Design Director of Level 99 Premium Denim about her career (here). Last week they relaunched their website and it (and their denim) look HOT! Even SJP, yes, I'm talking about the iconic Sarah Jessica Parker, has been wearing every pair of Level 99's she can get her hands on!  My favorites right now are all the selvedge pieces in their line (Relaxed Lily and shorts below). Make sure to go check out their new website here. Believe me....you won't be disappointed....their fabrics are super soft, "skinny's" are super stretchy and there are loads of ultra cool washes.

Uniform

My uniform as of late consists of skinny jeans(distressed, more on those later this week!), a blazer, a simple tee, a killer pair of booties and a few long necklaces. As you can probably tell from my recent outfit posts, I have been gravitating towards black and white combos. Classic! In the next few months as it begins to warm up and I get some color back in my skin, no doubt I will start to wear color again. Denim Week: Spotlight on Tinsel Town

I work for a variety of clients at the moment, including premium denim, missy sportswear, contemporary sportswear, and juniors. Since the focus on Tuesday was contemporary premium denim, I thought I'd change it up today and feature one of my favorite junior lines. Tinsel Town Denim Couture is only a few years old, and their junior line is on fire! I've had the pleasure of working with this team for several years and the line always has a young, cool vibe.
