We had 10 minutes to shoot these pictures yesterday and I have to say, the flowers serve as the perfect backdrop for this blouse! How great are these colors? I also love the print of this blouse from Leifsdottir at Anthropologie. I was in need of a good neutral pair of pumps and found these on Gilt Groupe. Festival season is already in full swing and Coachella is just around the corner. Fairgrounds, depending on location, can be tricky in terms of attire...dusty, crowded, hot during the day and cold at night. With this in mind, ideal outfits should consist of easy layering pieces and closed toe shoes to avoid broken toes in massive crowds of crazed music fans. Proceed with style and caution.

Calm Before the Storm

It's hard to believe just a few days ago it was 80 degrees! Winter is back, and we managed to sneak outside for a few minutes to take pictures before it started raining again. It was actually pretty cold and I should have been wearing more layers! I love this different take on a denim jacket; the sleeves and collar are coated denim. And I know I've raved about Shoemint before, but I have found some of my favorite shoes since the site debuted in November 2011. These are no exception, and have been a staple in my closet for about 6 months now. Perfect for a pop of print:)
