High End to High Street

There are plenty of "lust-worthy" fashion pieces I am drooling over at the moment. And because the real deal is not realistically obtainable, I have hunted down more affordable versions. What's in a Name?

Saint Laurent Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear

To say I was displeased to hear that Yves Saint Laurent would be changed to Saint Laurent is an understatement. The name change was implemented when Hedi Slimane took over as creative director at YSL in early 2012, after many years at Dior Homme.  SL just doesn't have the same ring to it, right?! Aside from the name change, Slimane debuted an absolutely amazing collection for Spring 2013.  Gorgeous jackets, feminine blouses, big floppy hats and the perfect little black pant....he earned back a few points in my book and I'm excited to see what he does next:)

P.S., apparently YSL will still be used as the logo for all branding, phew!
